75-ball and 90-ball bingo
75-ball bingo is the usual game in the United States. Cards have five columns under the letters B, I, N, G and O, with a free space in the middle. B covers 1 to 15, I covers 16 to 30, N covers 31 to 45, G covers 46 to 60 and O covers 61 to 75.
90-ball bingo is popular in the United Kingdom and much of Europe. Tickets have three rows and nine columns, with 15 numbers on each ticket. Prizes usually go to the first line, then two lines, then a full house.
Checking a winning card
When a player calls bingo, read their numbers back and look for each one on the board. Called numbers are filled in, so a missing number stands out at once. The counter shows how many balls have been called and how many are left.
Fair and random
Each call picks one of the balls that are left, and every one of them is equally likely. urTimer uses your browser’s secure random number generator, and a ball cannot come up twice in the same game.
Questions and answers
How does the auto caller work?
Turn on Auto call and pick how often to call, from every 3 seconds to every 10 seconds. It keeps calling until you turn it off or every ball has been called.
Can the caller read the numbers out loud?
Yes. Turn on Read calls aloud and each new ball is spoken, such as “B 12” in 75-ball or “Number 47” in 90-ball. It uses the voice built into your device, so no sound file is downloaded.
What if I call a number by mistake?
Press Undo. The last ball goes back into the drum and is cleared from the board.
Is my game saved if I close the page?
Yes. The called numbers are kept in this browser, so you can reload the page or come back later and carry on. New game clears them.
Can I show the caller on a projector or TV?
Yes. Open the page on the screen everyone can see. The current ball is large and easy to read, and you can zoom the page in your browser for a bigger board.
How many numbers are there in bingo?
75-ball bingo uses the numbers 1 to 75 and 90-ball bingo uses 1 to 90. A full game can call every ball, but most games end long before that.
